THIRD ANNUAL- Ben Hayes Support Fund Golf Tournament
On Saturday, September 11, 2010 show your support for the Hyes family by hitting the links! The Ben Hayes Support Fund golf tournament will begin at 9:00 a.m. with a shotgun start at Turner Highlands (10 Highland Ave., Turner, ME). If you are interested in learning more, signing up or being an event sponsor please contact benhayesgolftourny@gmail.com.

The cost is $75 per golfer. Your entry fee includes 18 holes of golf with cart, boxed lunch, golfers gift bag and prizes. Send your entry fee directly to the Ben Hayes Support Fund, c/o The Chamber, PO Box 59, Lewiston, ME 04243-0059. We look forward to seeing you on the course!!

Thank you to Twin City Redemption (120 Spring St., Auburn) for sponsoring a six month bottle drive for the Ben Hayes Support Fund. Many thanks to those who donated their returnables.


Family Fun Day
Roy’s All Steak Hamburgers & Golf Center and Gleason Mediahosted a special event to support The Ben Hayes Fund on July 13 that included a mini-golf a mini-golf tournament, drawings and achance to meet “Slugger”– Mascot of the Portland Sea Dogs. Thank you to Roy's, Gleason Media and all who attended.


Hannaford Sponsors a Dance for Ben June 28
A great dance, silent auction and raffle sponsored by Ben's employer, Hannaford raised funds for the Ben Hayes Support Fund.


Silent & Live Auction at Lost Valley
Over 250 showed up to help with Ben's medical care while picking up some great items in the auction. This successful event raised over $5,000 for the Ben Hayes Support Fund! Thank you to all who attended and the event sponsors and in-kind donors.


Red Sox Monster Raffle -- with three winners
The Ben Hayes Support Fund raffled off two Green Monster Seats for the 6/8 Red Sox vs. Mariners game at Fenway *and* two pair of grandstand seats for the 8/12 Red Sox vs. Rangers game at Fenway. The Monster seat drawing took place June 4 at Gipper's Sports Grill (120 Center St., Auburn). Raffle ticket sales raised over $5,000 to benefit the Ben Hayes Support Fund! Thanks to all who entered!

Scarborough High School Fashion Show
Scarborough High School and Inverness Medical teamed to host a fashion show on April 5 with all proceeds benefiting the Support Hayes fund. Participating Scarborough High students had previously worked with Erin on science research and experiments.

Inverness Medical Supports the Hayes Family
On March 28 Erin's employer, Inverness Medical hosted a dance and silent auction, which raised over $5,000 for Ben and Erin Hayes. THANK YOU to all who attended and made this event possible.


Tom Magno Memorial Ski Race at Lost Valley
On March 1, 2008 the Auburn Ski Association hosted this race with proceeds of over $1,000 raised to benefit the Ben Hayes Support Fund. All ages participated in this race held in honor of the late Tom Magno. THANK YOU to all who made the fun event possible!


Ben & Erin Hayes Support Supper
On February 10, 2008 we raised nearly $5,000 to help Ben Hayes with medical care and equipment. THANK YOU to all who contributed and attended!
